Thirty-Four

Yummy 5 Layered Cake
(it has mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple in it)

Not enough candles!

I love my boys!

Liam

The candles were already out, we were just pretending!

Sweet Boy!

Aunt Danielle & (soon to be) Uncle Chad's puppy, Abby!

We were outsideto send off a "wish lantern"...(I said a prayer for my kids instead). It was the coolest thing, but it was a sample of something that Danielle is doing on her wedding night so I didn't put the pictures on here. I'll post those after her wedding!

I had a wonderful time turning 34, thank you everyone who made it so special!

Isaac's Birthday Party (a little late)

I know Isaac's birthday was in April and I never wrote anything about his party we had for him with friends and family. I especially wanted to brag on my mom for the cake she made for him. She always does an amazing job on everything she puts her hands to but I just loved the cake she made! We had a Noah's Ark party. We had lots of fun and are so thankful to all of our friends and family for coming to help celebrate!

The dove that is on the top of the cake actually came from my parents wedding cake 36 years ago! The kids all took 2 animals each, but the dove was off limits!
Isaac & Daddy!

He's actually blowing out 2 candles, not 1.

Yummy!
Aunt Danielle & Isaac. I was so grateful for her and my other sister Jill, they helped out so much, mainly since I wasn't in the "mood" (still wasn't feeling all that great from my pregnancy) to have a big celebration and a bunch of people over...but because of them it worked out much better!
Happy Birthday Isaac!

Isaac's Two

What a wonderful day today is! No, not earth day...it's Isaac's 2nd Birthday! We are so thankful that we have been blessed with Isaac as our son!

Isaac will not let Chad mow the lawn without him.

We went to the zoo with playgroup today. This was Isaac's first trip to the zoo and he really enjoyed himself!
Isaac playing, waiting on the train.

Isaac's first train ride...he LOVED it!

Isaac's first ride on the carousel, he loved that too!
We had a little celebration for him on his birthday since we have a party planned with some friends and family. We all got a cupcake from Merritt's.

Birthday #1

Well, I thought since Isaac will be 18 months in a couple days I had better get something down for his 1st birthday...then we can move on!

We had two celebrations for Isaac's first birthday. The first was at my parents house. It was very nice, besides his Mommy & Daddy...Grandma & Grandpa Dany and Grandma & Grandpa Newton were there. Isaac's Aunt Jill & Aunt Danielle were there and of course, his Great Grandma (Huff) and Great Uncle Lenny were all there to celebrate his first year of life. We are so blessed to have this child in our lives. He's so special to us and we pray that he will follow God all of his days!

Angel Food Cake - Yummy...Mommy's Favorite! (Isaac's first introduction to real sugar, at least that I am aware of)!

Grandma & Grandpa Dany - Isaac - Grandma & Grandpa Newton. It is so awesome to have both our families here!
Mommy, Daddy & Isaac...so proud to be able to celebrate this special day with our little boy! We love him so very much.

The second party was at our house. We had quite a few friends there...The Parks, Hildebrant's, Smoliak's, Powell's, Moffatt's, Flores, Fuller's, Neales, (I hope I am not forgetting anyone)...the Newton's & the Dany's. It was a nice celebration!

Isn't this the coolest cake? My mom made it...thank you mommy! It was not only beautiful, but delicious too! Rib Crib catered the party. It went well with the "Western Theme".
Yee-Ha!
I just loved that cake...it took everything out of me to cut it (literally - the fondant was thick!)

Okay Isaac...that's enough cake for you for a while! Isaac has been to his share of birthday parties that now all he wants to do if he sees a candle lit...is blow it out (very cute)!
